It’s been a while since I posted a blog entry. I’ve been studying at university and haven’t had much time to write about gaming. Instead, I’ve focused my energy on creating things for the community. You can check out my Blades pages here (under Gaming Resources), my Patreon, and my itch.io to see what I’ve been up to and what I’ve been making.

But the reason for this post is that I need help finishing my education. I returned to school after almost twenty years, having had to put it aside in order to take care of family, but now I’m coming up short of funds for this year. More of the story is at my GoFundMe. I’d appreciate any help you can give, which includes sharing this campaign (it really helps!), and thank you!

 

After quite some time of attempting to encourage and grow interest in the Patreon project, including altering the Patreon towards producing battlemaps and paper minis for tabletop and electronic gaming and such in order to broaden the project’s appeal, and yet still gaining no foothold in terms of interest or financial benefit, I have decided to end the experiment as having less value than the time being put into it.

The various items produced for my patrons are now unavailable to the general public and will remain so. For those of you who provided patronage, I thank you for your interest and support!

 

Fueled by events last December and the following months, I’ve taken a long break from game development and from the hobby itself. I’m still illustrating and editing, and although the WHS forum is now closed, you can still contact me for work via e-mail or through the Contact Form linked to on the right.

 

All my writing projects are unfortunately on hold while I sort out and hopefully resolve some painful personal matters. Yes, this unfortunately means eXpendable is once again on the back burner.
